About
Our mission is to connect people and encourage more depth, more openness and a deeper democracy.
To move people beyond domesticated thinking and increase curiosity, understanding and exploration of the human condition, which are all of the characteristics and key events that compose the essentials of human existence, including birth, growth, emotion, aspiration, conflcit, relationships and mortality.
Role & Reason
Role
The Greater Good creates powerful spaces for people to connect — with themselves and each other — through experiences that spark self-awareness, fresh thinking, and new ways of showing up in the world.
We help people who help people. Our work moves us beyond old systems of conditioning by championing independent thought and deep democracy — where every voice counts.
We’re driven by curiosity and compassion for what it means to be human — the highs, the lows, and everything in between: growth, emotion, purpose, conflict, and mortality.
By bringing together bold thinkers and leading-edge practitioners in mental health and wellbeing, we share real knowledge through experiential learning, grounded conversations, and action that matters.
We also collaborate with corporate partners to offer transformative development opportunities — reaching not just those in the boardroom, but also people who might not usually access this kind of support.
Reason
The world feels more disconnected than ever. People are drifting further from themselves and each other — overwhelmed, overstimulated, and stuck in a cycle of striving but never arriving.
We’ve built a culture hooked on more — more stuff, more status, more success — fueled by fear that we’re not enough. This scarcity mindset leaves us defining our worth by what we’ve achieved, not who we truly are. And it’s taking a toll.
The result? A world in emotional crisis. Anxiety and depression are at record highs. Suicide rates are climbing. Disconnection and unrest are growing in every direction.
What’s missing is real connection — to self, to others, and to what actually matters. What’s needed is a shift toward compassion, inclusivity, and conscious, collective care.
If we can choose curiosity over fear, and connection over competition, we can reshape our shared future — one that’s healthier, more human, and grounded in what makes life truly meaningful.
Three Pillars
Curiosity
We encourage curiosity and exploration that moves people beyond ideology, societal norms and bias, to create a greater line of enquiry to their truth.
Compassion
We help people help people by honouring and sharing our differences in lived experience, to support us in understanding ourselves and each other so we can be better together.
Courage
We arm people with the courage, awareness and resource to make positive radical change and take meaningful action to improve their lives.
Advisory Board & Biographies
Ben J McKie
PG Dip, Advanced Dip, UKCP Registered, MNCP(Senior accred), PNCPS (Acc.)
I am a qualified and accredited consultant psychotherapist and executive coach with a deep commitment to transformation—for individuals, couples, leaders, and organisations. My work is grounded in the belief that meaningful change arises from authentic connection, courageous self-inquiry, and environments that inspire growth.
As the founder and Clinical Director of The Greater Good Consultancy Ltd, I design and deliver immersive, high-impact programmes across Europe, the U.S., and North Africa, blending Eastern wisdom with Western psychological frameworks. My specialism lies in crafting bespoke, residential change experiences for individuals and groups—programmes that are both emotionally restorative and strategically developmental.
Much of my inspiration comes from the desert, a landscape I return to often for its profound stillness and clarity. In this elemental environment, I guide transformative retreats that strip away distraction and help people reconnect with their inner authority, purpose, and leadership potential.
I work at the intersection of psychotherapy, executive coaching, and social impact—supporting clients not only to grow, but to contribute. Through The Greater Good Consultancy, I initiate and lead social change projects focused on mental health access, leadership integrity, and community healing. Our newest venture, a low-cost psychotherapy clinic launching in Swiss Cottage in 2025, reflects my passion for creating services that support both personal wellbeing and collective good.
My executive coaching and mentoring practice focuses primarily on senior leaders, directors, partners, and board-level professionals across Europe and the U.S. Drawing on positive psychology, a solution-focused approach, and decades of experience in psychotherapy, I support clients in building influence, navigating complexity, and making a meaningful impact—within their organisations and beyond.
Above all, I am passionate about people and their capacity to grow, evolve, and lead with depth and integrity.

Jamie Munro
He is joint founder and MD of Greenbird Media, the UK’s most prominent production company incubator, investor and business accelerator. Greenbird currently works with 12 production companies spanning entertainment, factual entertainment and factual producers. He is also Managing Director of Keshet UK Productions, a successful UK drama production company and is a media advisor for Burnley FC.
Throughout his life he’s found written work a struggle. It was his daughter’s dyslexia diagnosis that led to his own diagnosis and this has in turn led to a personal interest into neuro diversity. He is the responsible SEND governor at a Southwest London independent school. Jamie now realises that he’s intuitively developed lots of strategies that he has put in place to help him to succeed in work and life.
Jamie is continually focused on building on his own self-development and during the pandemic took part in the Nancy Kline Time to Think foundation course which he found be challenging and thought provoking.
In his spare time Jamie enjoys singing & song writing and playing the guitar. He is also an avid rugby fan and watches his beloved Harlequins and England whenever he can.
